Everfield acquires Danish POS provider OnlinePOS to strengthen its Nordic presence

European long-term software investor Everfield has announced the acquisition of OnlinePOS, Denmark’s leading provider of cloud-based point-of-sale (POS) solutions for the hospitality and events industry. This strategic move represents Everfield’s 30th acquisition across Europe, its first in Denmark, and a key milestone in expanding its footprint in the Nordic region.

Founded in 2008, OnlinePOS has built a reputation as a trusted POS platform for HORECA (Hotel, Restaurant, Café) businesses. The company’s modular solution includes traditional POS functionality alongside advanced features such as:

  • QR-based self-service ordering
  • Integrated payment solutions
  • Table and back-office management
  • Over 30 third-party integrations for seamless business operations

OnlinePOS is an impressive business with a strong local presence and a flexible, scalable product. Having it as part of the ecosystem marks an exciting step for our food and hospitality vertical

Henning Schreiber, Head of Acquisitions at Everfield

The acquisition complements Everfield’s growing POS ecosystem, which already includes leading brands such as Digifood, MatrixPOS, helloTESS!, and KOST. The addition of OnlinePOS enhances Everfield’s capacity to deliver customer-centric, scalable solutions tailored to the needs of hospitality and foodservice operators across Europe.
