    Norwegian based Kolonial orders carts worth 2 million SEK

    Kolonial, the largest company in Norway for online food deliveries, has placed another order for carts to their distribution sites from FlexQube.

    During the fourth quarter, the order value totals 2 million SEK ($235,000).

    In addition to this order, Kolonial has also indicated that the need for carts during 2021 will be at least 3 million SEK ($350,000).

    FlexQube offers a unique and patented concept that is used to design and deliver robust, modular and flexible material handling carts that can also run autonomous.

    The company has manufacturing in Sweden and USA and distribution in North America and in Europe.

    On December 14, 2017, the company was listed on the Nasdaq First North in Sweden.

    80% sales growth for Bonami on Black Friday

    Bonami has seen an increase of 80% in sales, in Romania and of 100% on the other markets where the company is present.

    Total sales made during the duration of the promotions, including Cyber ​​Monday, reached 6 million euros overall, of which 800,000 euros in Romania.

    Between November 27th and 29th, and on Cyber ​​Monday, the sales were higher than on the Romanian Black Friday weekend, 4 million euros versus 2 million euros, with the same trend being confirmed on the Romanian market, (500.000 euros versus 300,000).

    The largest order made in Romania had a value of 9500 euros.

    The highest online traffic was reached Sunday afternoon and night, the trend withstanding both periods with special Black Friday promotions.

    Compared to an ordinary November day, online traffic rose by 150%. Romanians prefer ordering through the mobile phone, while in all other countries where Bonami is present, the orders were made using desktop.

    During the two promotional periods we succeeded in selling 35.000 products in Romania, out of a total of 250.000 on all markets”, said Pavel Vopařil, CEO of Bonami.

    Czech online supermarket Rohlik enters Austrian market

    Rohlik Austrian branch, Gurkerl.at, is a new online supermarket, which entered the market from 3 December 2020, Heute reports.

    Gurkerl.at sells a 7,500 product range, from items for daily use (including diapers or hair dye products), fresh pastries, meat from Austria and vegetables.

    The company rented a 6,000 square metre warehouse in Tech Park Vienna.

    All orders will be delivered with its own fleet within three hours and in a one-hour window.

    Until 31.12.2020 you can order from a minimum order value of 39 euros. The delivery fee is free until the end of the year.

    Brico Depot launched a ”scan and go” app in Spain and Portugal

    Called ”Brico and Go”, the app can be used in all 31 Brico Depot stores in the two countries.

    Customers will be able to place orders by scanning the barcodes of the items they want to buy and pay through the app.

    They can either place the products in a basket or trolley as they scan them and pay on the way out of the store via the app, or use the app to compile and pay for an order, which is then picked by a Brico Depot store employee and brought to the customer within 30 minutes.

    Customers will be able to check product prices, offers and stock levels, access previous purchase history and, for professional customers, store invoices for accounting purposes.

    The new app complements existing services available to Brico Depot customers in Spain and Portugal, such as Click & Collect and Click & Delivery.

    AMF Fastigheter is the first real estate company in Sweden to enter into a partnership with Bambuser.

    This is the first time Live Video Shopping is embedded into the offering of a shopping mall.

    In addition to space for in-person shopping, The Lobby Live offers a studio in which they can host Live Video Shopping experiences using Bambuser’s platform.

    The Lobby Live enables more brands and retailers to test the format that increases both digital reach and sales and at the same time drives traffic to the physical store.

    Interest in live shopping has grown sharply during the year and is now one of the major global retail trends in 2020.

    Jysk has 2,949 stores and employs around 26,500 persons in 51 countries, most of them in Germany (966 stores).

    Most openings, in Romania

    In the financial year 2019/2020, Jysk recorded 14 new store opening in Romania, +13 in Ukraine, +7 in Greece, +6 in Bulgaria and +5 in Poland and Belgium.

    Jysk franchises recorded 14 new openings, most of them in Thailand (+3).

    SPAR Austria installed a solar power system on the roof of the SPAR Wolkersdorf, bringing the number of solar-powered stores to 100.

    The company plans to roll out the systems in additional stores nationwide.

    SPAR store rooftop solar systems created 4.8 million kilowatt-hours of green electricity, which was used directly onsite.

    Compared to the domestic electricity mix, this green energy contributes to a CO2 reduction of 800 tonnes.

    With the electricity generated on rooftops, SPAR powers instore cooling, lighting, and IT systems.

    Annually, SPAR Austria invests about €1 million in the expansion of solar energy, in close cooperation with regional energy providers.

    SPAR Austria intends to reduce its instore energy consumption by 50% by 2050, compared to 2009, and to decrease greenhouse gas emissions by 90%.

    SPAR alro operates two hydropower plants at the SPAR Supermarket in Graz-Floßlendplatz and the SES shopping centre SILLPARK in Innsbruck.

    This e-shop offers nearly 450 non-food references, as well as a hundred in the Yapu Yapu category, destocking products sold exclusively at attractive prices.

    All of these products are available for sale, in click and collect, in the 5 existing stores. Customers will be able to find products from the home, beauty, high tech, leisure or toy departments.

    Technogym LA is open Monday to Saturday from 10 AM to 6 PM.
